Kick off the summer with the stylish new thriller fresh off its premiere at Cannes Film Festival. With a star-studded cast including Adèle Exarchopoulos and Gaspard Ulliel, ‘Sibyl’ follows the titular character, a psychoanalyst played by Virginie Efira, and her whirlwind descent into the drama of her patients’ lives.
Sibyl, a jaded psychotherapist, returns to her first passion: writing. But her newest patient Margot, a troubled up-and-coming actress, proves to be a source of inspiration that is far too tempting. Fascinated almost to the point of obsession, Sibyl becomes more and more involved in Margot’s tumultuous life, reviving volatile memories that bring her face to face with her past. - Plot
“Justine Triet's elegant story of a psychotherapist who steals her patient's story for a novel is a clever portrait of a creative crisis.” - IndieWire
The screening will take place at cinéma Luminor Hôtel de Ville, located in the area of Le Marais, by Centre Pompidou. We will be offering a selection of Parisian drinks and popcorn during our cocktail hour from 7PM. Then, at 8PM the screening begins. Tickets available both online and at the cinema.
